Eating your way across Italy

Man cannot live on bread alone. Cheese, salumi and wine on the other hand.

One of the best meals I've ever had and there wasn't a vegetable in sight. An array of cheeses ranging from firm to hard, dipped in delectable honey, a palette of pork, unsalted bread and two bottles of red wine that barely touched the sides.

One photo and I'm back there. Which may explain my thirst for photography. There isn't anyone in the picture but I can remember the crinkles in the waiters smile, the warmth of their hospitality, and the church bell ringing 111 times. I could go on but a picture is truly a thousand words.
