Tell it like it is

I already liked Brad Wiggins.

He has a style, a swagger - just like his doppelganger, Paul Weller.

There ain't much of him, but what there is contains a massive amount of the term he used recently.

It's well known he's not a fan of the press, and it's no surprise with conferences like this.

I'm torn this year.

I really want Cadel to win this year.  He confident and it shows, he's riding with a lot of the said term and attacking when opportunity presents itself.

That, and he's officially cool thanks to him coming through with a signed BMC jersey for Melburn Roobaix.

However.

Brad is half-Australian and has two amazing Australians by his side, driving his campaign to Paris.   It wasn't so long ago that I marvelled as Mick Rogers was the virtual maillot juane on the road before crashing out of the tour.

Brad is focused and prepared, and his comments of late would have gone mostly unnoticed had he not worn his heart on his sleeve, and shown his intense passion to reach his goal, and the disdain for those who should stand in his way by questioning his integrity by telling it 'like it is'.

C U Next Tuesday.
