I'm about to make a foray into the 21st century when it comes to road pedals - but to be honest I have no idea what to get.

I'm currently operating LOOK Delta pedals which are great for period-ish correct projects, but am looking to slightly modernise my platform and curious to know what you are riding and why?

I've also used Shimano SPD-R, SL, and Campagnolo Pro-fit (broke in two during the Dirty Gran Fondo). I'm no weight weenie, I don't crave carbon or tantilise for titanium so you can disregard rubbish like this.

I want a blend of performance, reliability and looks.
