Double Headwind

Melburn phenomenom / Double Headwind

Whatever I did to anger the Gods of Meteorology, I apologise. How else do you explain the wind changing just as you change direction?

Ugly and I did a slighter longer lap of the backyard also known as the Kinglake Klassik. Some bakery tried calling it their own, but the roads were there long before. We both demolished Will Walkers time from to Kinglake to St Andrews with a time of 7.33s. That Will road up the hill and we descended at full tilt might have something to do with it.

Here's some snaps taken on Break o Day Rd. The great thing about the ride is there is very little traffic and it feels like the roads are your own.

Ugly's ride is a custom Primate with 'old school' Campagnolo Record 10s. Wheels by Shifterbikes.

Soul searching/destroying

Amigos from abroad are back in Australia and about to descend on my home town. Henrik, Andrea and co are cycling from Perth to Melbourne, and last I heard were in Adelaide.

Common sense has prevailed and they have taken road bikes for the trip. Looks like the lucky buggers even convinced someone to carry their kit and follow the ride. I'll be sure to take them on the Mad Max loop when they hit town.

More at soul searchers.

Robbie, much like myself carries his own kit. V. Pro.

Thanks Milano Fixed.

Speaking of the Road Warrior....

Something missing that the treble can't erase.
