I have a feeling that CMWC Guatemala will be one of the best championships to date. I'm a more than a little sad not to be making it out there, but two times across the pond in one year - what kind of rockstar do you think I am?

Of course I'm open to someone/company or individual paying for my ticket, would be eternally grateful, and promise to capture the spirit, and bag a few events along the way in true TC style.

Lane (MDMA) is the only person I have sponsored as a rider. He's slick on the bike, fast, and embodies the messenger spirit.

I sent him packing with one of the last MELBURN ROOBAIX jackets in stock. Can't see Lane needing the warmth in Central America, but it will make for one hell of a great garment swap - another common bond between couriers attending championships. I've got Martin (Kobehaven) Banana's gore-tex jacket from the Zurich championships, Izumi (Tokyo) has my old minuteman jacket, Stefan (Lausanne) has my Cyclones TC jacket, I have Randall's (Zurich) socks (still the most bizarre swap so far).

Since NYC in 2005 (which I didn't attend thanks to a broken clavicle - thank you Victorian Police) there has been an increase in the percentage of non-couriers attending the Championships which has mixed sentiment - but can you blame them? The events are amazing, the people are amazing, and the host cities always put on a good show.
