Weight weenie.
What a difference some rain makes.
In the relatively short history of Melburn Roobaix there was only been one 'wet' year. It's been some time for the other Roubaix also. Watch at 44:00 onwards as their rear wheels flick side to side on the slick surface.
Pimp my ride.
For Dan. Polished Sugino 75's and keeping the logo's intact. No small feat.

Pinning on a number
That's what I'll be doing.
Hoop-la.
In the mid 90s I went to college in the states for a semester. A very small college called Johnson C Smith.
I didn't take a bike and my brief search to find one never got far. Among the things I did outside of class was cross-country running, my YMCA life guarding certificate, and training with the basketball team.
The guys on the basketball team would ask me if it I felt ok during training because I looked always looked a little pale. If you know anything about the school you'll get the joke.
During training they would take turns to put a quarter on the TOP of the backboard.
This is what that kind of explosive power looks like (on the internet). Amazing. Even more amazing and slightly humiliating when you are the guy underneath. Kaboom!
