Launched 12 months ago just prior to the 2011 edition of Melburn Roobaix, Creux Cycling is establishing itself as a leading cycling apparel slash streetwear brand.
The boys from Creux are 'local' with a passion for cycling, evident in the cycling specific details in their products. The Creux line ranges from tee-shirts, to jeans, shorts, hoodies, jackets and jerseys, created to perform on the bike, and equally as stile off.
What separates Creux from other streetwear brand is the clothing is designed foremost for on the bike wear. Tailored cuts, lock loops, reflective prints, inbuilt chamois and functional pockets as well as fabrics designed to moderate your temperature and protect you from the elements combine for great garments.
In 2012, Creux is a major sponsor of Melburn Roobaix, providing massive support as well as the threads for the FYXO event tee. Better still, in 2012 the tee will be made from a premium dri-release fabric which basically means you can wear it longer before the stink sets in. In a slight detour from years past, it's not black. The colour is called 'wet weather which could be an omen. Look out for it in the next few weeks.
Creux will also be making noise on the most famous of Roobaix sectors - The Koppenberg.
Here's an iconic clip from the real Koppenberg and you can be sure Creux will be handing out the pushes, not running you down.
Check out the Creux Cycling site for more, with a ladies range on the horizon, chinos and an updated denim range with refined chamois and waterproofing
