Andy,

Why aren't their any FYX photos on the cycling news website. I have to say, I'm rather disappointed with the quality of the images from Session 1 and 2.

Are you down there shooting?

Well, I was there and here they are. Only mainstream media photographers get trackside positions, which makes it a little harder to get CLOSE to the action. Some of the 'mainstream' shooters asked me 'which one is Chris Hoy?' - turns out they're not track nuts.

I'd pull my hair out, but you all know how far that would get me. So to answer the question from Canada - perhaps it would carry more weight This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Highlights.

Azizul, the little giant killer. It astonishes me that the diminutive man from Malaysia can not only match, but intimidate the biggest and bulkiest track sprinters in the world. Give him a cheer tonight in the Keirin.

Leigh Howard and Cameron Meyer tore the field a new backside in the madison which was the highlight of the night.

Shane Perkins gave me a close up look at his hand made custom track shoes which he sourced after tiring of breaking a number of BONTs, Shane Archibold leading the way with his flowing locks and tireless attacks, Steph Roorda from Canada for her Canadianism alone, Matt Crampton relaxing to Spandau Ballet, Shane Sutton gives Simon Gerrans some tips - on gardening, Sir Chris had 'The Dandy Warhols - Hard On For Jesus' on rotation for warm up, and Jack Bobridge's dietary regime - Sushi rolls and choc tops!
