The 111th Austral Wheelrace

The 111th Austral Wheelrace

The Austral Wheelrace is the world’s oldest continually held cycling race. The first Austral was held in 1887 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground over a distance of 3-miles.

Now part of an action packed carnival, the heats and final of the Wheelrace will be mixed with the best elite cycling going around.

Can a “front-marker” hang on for glory or will a “back-marker” get up and add his name to the honour roll.
